Karl B. Springman, 75 of Brighton Twp., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Heritage Valley, Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Born December 20, 1946 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Gervase E. and H. Louise Luckner Springman. Karl had graduated from Altoona High School in 1964 and was a proud veteran of the US Airforce and recipient of the Purple Heart during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2008 after having served 40 years as a mechanic with Ashland Oil Company. He had been a resident of Brighton Twp. for 48 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Jane Sweitzer Springman, a son, Karl (Sundy) B. Springman, Jr. of Beaver, Pennsylvania; daughter, Julie (Steve) Allison, Beaver, PA; cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey and Bradley Allison, Sheridan and Samantha Springman; a brother, Paul J. (Sonni) Springman, Alpharetta, Georgia; sisters, Patty (James) Cole, Economy, PA, and Barbara (Wayne) Croyle, Zelienople, PA; sister-in-law, Judy (Karl) King, Altoona, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday, January 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. A funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 45 Maple Drive, Beaver, PA on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by full military rites by the Beaver County Chapter of the Vietnam Vets of America.
