Richard Allen Lyons, 77, of Vanport Twp., passed away following a brief illness, Sunday, October 31, 2021, at UPMC Passavant.

Born June 19, 1944 in Brownsville, PA, he was a 1964 graduate of Rochester High School and attended Toccoa Falls College for Pastoral Ministries. Richard retired after a 10-year career with Lowe’s. He also worked at the Beaver County YMCA. In his spare time, Richard could be found sitting on his front porch, drinking coffee, with his loving dog, Toby. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver.

Richard will be greatly missed by his wife of 8 years, Debra Polce Lyons; sister, Karen (William Evans) Lyons; mother-in-law, Theresa Polce; two brothers-in-law, Joe (Michele) Polce, and Tom (Christie) Polce; niece, Linnea (Charlie) Clear; nephew, David (Shelly) Coberly; great-nephews, Tristen Clear, Zackery Milliron, and Aiden Coberly; great-niece, Ainsley Coberly; uncle, Samuel Brenton; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Bessie Brenton Lyons.

Friends will be received Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a Blessing Service will be conducted by Fr.
