William Scott Roth, 85, of New Brighton, passed away at home on July 23, 2020.

Born on March 22, 1935, in New Brighton, to the late Charles and Elizabeth Roth, he was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired Foreman for North Star Transfer Company.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Roth in 2014, and a daughter, Ellen Marie Roth in 1962.

He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Bill Roth and Chris (Marleni) Roth; four daughters, Barb Whipple, Caroline (Roy) Montani, Linda Barrett, and Denise (Jack) Malone; three brothers, Richard (Linda) Roth, Walter Roth, and Chip (Sandy) Roth; two sisters, Kathryn Rowan and Penny Roth; ten grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Emily, Ryan, Devin, Kristen, Maggie, Katie, Alex, Christian, Amanda and Ashlee; and two great-grandchildren, Haley and Saylor.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2pm until time of Memorial Service at 4pm in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009. Online Condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com. CDC guidelines of social distancing and the wearing of masks will be followed.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bill’s name to Good Samaritan Hospice Heritage Valley Beaver Unit, 1000 Dutch Ridge Road, Beaver PA 15009.

Thank you so very much for your kind expression of sympathy in our time of sorrow, you were there for us from beginning to end, plus more. You prepared Rocky in such a handsome and peaceful way, prior to that viewing I saw only pain and suffering. It helped remind me of peaceful and happy times. What else can a grateful heart say.

Mark & Alex everything done by you and your staff was outstanding. It was a difficult time for us, but you made everyone feel at ease. You never forgot anything we said or asked for. We are so glad Dad knew where he wanted to go. Once again Father Knows Best!

Thank you for guiding us through the preplanning, Your Patience and understanding as we tried to finalize arrangements was so helpful at such an emotional time. We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.

It's never easy to lose a loved one but the kind and compassionate service that Mark and his team provided certainly reduced our burden. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They handled every last detail so that we could spend the time grieving the loss of our father and husband. The help that my mom is still receiving from them is beyond comforting to me and my brother. Words cannot express our deepest thanks and gratitude.
