Robert K. Estermyer
He was born on November 21, 1949 in New Brighton, PA a son of the late Robert and Beverly Ruth Estermyer Sr. Bob was a proud member of the US Navy where he served as a signalman aboard the USS Savannah. Shortly after serving in the Navy, he met and married his sweetheart Charmaine Bassar who were together for the past 49 years. Bob was a graduate of Slippery Rock University and later worked for Fischer Financial as a loan broker before opening Blackhawk Equity Services and working as a self-employed mortgage broker for 10 years.
Bob was a member of the Meridian Lodge No. 411, Enon Valley, PA and Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle, PA. He was also a member of Saint Monica Parish, Chippewa, PA.
Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who was extremely proud of his family. He enjoyed sharing and creating new memories including hunting, fishing, family time and the good ole days. Bob was known as the man with a remarkable humor and memorable smile which made loving him very easy.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Charmaine (Bassar), son Joel (Amanda) Estermyer of South Beaver Township, daughter Elisa (Steve) Schenck of East Vincent Township, PA, and 6 grandchildren Katalina, Joel Jr, Alec and Brock Estermyer and Ethan and Sophia Schenck.
Friends will be received on Friday July 22, 2022 in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 10am in Saint Monica Roman Catholic Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery with Full Military Honors by the Beaver County Special Unit.
