Nancy Louise Stone Bevington, 82, of Darlington, Formerly of Vanport, passed away on September 17, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 11, 1940, in Vanport, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clifford R. and Marie A. Cope Stone, Nancy was Christian by Faith. She dearly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking and hosting her family for Sunday dinners, where she also loved to play cards after their meals. Nancy had worked at the former family restaurant, as a pastry chef.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bevington Sr., (1995); and five siblings.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her five children, Donald (Toni) Bevington Jr., Samuel (Mary) Bevington, Susan (William) Brown, Robert (Bonnie) Bevington, and Sandra (James) Feezle; six siblings; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Nancy’s wishes, all services were private.
Interment to take place at Duff Cemetery, Darlington, Pennsylvania.

Mark & Alex everything done by you and your staff was outstanding. It was a difficult time for us, but you made everyone feel at ease. You never forgot anything we said or asked for. We are so glad Dad knew where he wanted to go. Once again Father Knows Best!

We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.

It's never easy to lose a loved one but the kind and compassionate service that Mark and his team provided certainly reduced our burden. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They handled every last detail so that we could spend the time grieving the loss of our father and husband. The help that my mom is still receiving from them is beyond comforting to me and my brother. Words cannot express our deepest thanks and gratitude.
