The beautiful soul of MaryAnn Presutti (Cronin) peacefully passed away on March 8, 2023. She was 85. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Sam (Silvio) C. Presutti. Maryann was a most wonderful mother and was cherished by her five children; Lana (Jim) of Pittsburgh, Ted Presutti of East Liverpool; Sam M Presutti, of Ohioville; Michelle Presutti of Ohioville and Pamela Gomez of Stafford, Virginia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Trudy, Vince, Celena, Katie, Sam, Alexis, Matthew, Gianna, and Gabriella, and nine great grandchildren.

MaryAnn was born and raised in Monaca, the daughter of John Cagney and Elizabeth Cronin. She is survived by her sister, Peg Dinello of Monaca, and preceded in death by her brother James Cronin of Monaca, and sister RoseMarie Fausti of Conway. MaryAnn, a beautiful person inside and out, was the football queen of Monaca High School in 1955. She was employed at Westinghouse and years later, at Sargeant Electric as their payroll accountant.

MaryAnn was an avid golfer, and enjoyed many years at the Deer Trails Country Club. She treasured her friends, especially her card clubs who have been playing cards for the last 65 years. She loved to dance, loved music and played the organ. She was a strong, feisty (stubborn), Irish/Italian woman, and was greatly admired because of it. Special thanks to Virginia Wolfe, her primary caregiver as well as Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver for their excellent care. And, to Denise Nohe for her time, love and support.

Friends will be received Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland, PA 15059. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish, 772 Ohio Ave, Midland, PA 15059. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in MaryAnn’s name may be made to the St. Anthony Club, Midland.

Testimonials

Noll Funeral Home
Thank you so very much for your kind expression of sympathy in our time of sorrow, you were there for us from beginning to end, plus more. You prepared Rocky in such a handsome and peaceful way, prior to that viewing I saw only pain and suffering. It helped remind me of peaceful and happy times. What else can a grateful heart say.

Everyone at Noll's guided us through all the details. We did not have to worry about the schedule or anything, other than to spend time with family and friends as we shared and grieved together. Mark, Alex & Staff Our family is very grateful for the caring and thoughtful way you handled Marian's viewing and service. We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.

It's never easy to lose a loved one but the kind and compassionate service that Mark and his team provided certainly reduced our burden. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They handled every last detail so that we could spend the time grieving the loss of our father and husband. The help that my mom is still receiving from them is beyond comforting to me and my brother. Words cannot express our deepest thanks and gratitude.
