Martin P. Corak
Born October 26, 1951 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Emil “Babe” and Belle Corak. Marty was a 1969 graduate of Western Beaver High School and had attended CCBC. He was a passionate pugilist, devoting most of the past 40 years to boxing and training and mentoring others, most recently as owner and operator of the Beaver County Fight Club in Rochester. He also served the community as a foster parent in Beaver County.
Marty is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 21 years, Michelle N. Corak; one son, Adam (Lindsey Hettish) Corak, both of Brighton Township; one daughter, Carey (John) Eckler, Aliquippa; a special foster daughter, his wild child, Maurissa McDole; two brothers, Paul (Leslie) Corak, Monaca and Eli (Patty) Corak, Kernersville, NC; three cherished grandchildren, Peyton Eli Corak, Markus Hettish, and Carolyn Eckler; and his friend and former wife, Virginia (John) Adams, Hopewell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Vogel.
Friends will be received Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
