Great teacher and great person! Thankful for his influence when I was a student of his at Western Beaver.
Mrs. Curto and family, you have my deepest condolences at the loss of such a talented man. I remember Mr. Curto from way back in the late 60's when my sister was the piano accompanist for the choir and the many hours that everyone put in to make the concert a success. Then came my turn in the 70's and he was still as vibrant as he was in the 60's. He brought the music alive to many people who didn't know they had it in them. He has now joined the choir of Angels and is probably trying to direct them. Happy singing Mr. Curto!!
To the Curto family: My deepest condolences. Mr. Curto was the nicest man. I thoroughly enjoyed high school and church choirs with Mr. Curto conducting! Many of us would even sing in harmony when Christmas caroling in Meadowbrook, and the families loved it - one 'grandma' even invited the 20+ of us into her home for hot chocolate and cookies. Years of very fond memories of Mr. Curto will always be with me. Thank goodness for the arts, and thank you, Mr. Curto, for teaching music/chorus at Western Beaver. God Bless, Anna-Marie
Please accept my condolences on your loss of your husband. Mr. Curto was my music teacher at WesternBeaver and I enjoyed each music class tremendously. He brought out the best in me and fed my love of music that I treasure to this day.
Just saw Mr. Curto's obituary, I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Loved having him as our music teacher at WBHS.
