Julia Mosura Page, 94, of Ohioville, passed away at home, Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Born January 19, 1927 in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late Theodore “Frank” and Mary Evanko Mosura. Julie devoted her life to being a wife, mother, and grandmother. A friend to everyone she met, Julie was also known as an amazing baker and cook, who generously showered her love on family and friends through the meals and sweets she prepared. “Baba” loved a good joke, and never failed to mess up the retelling of the story. She was loving, kind, fun, and a joy to be around. Julie will be greatly missed. A faithful member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland, she participated in the Circle of Serbian Sisters.

In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Page in 1996; four sisters; and four brothers.

She is survived by sons, Daniel J. Page, Midland, and Matthew (Duane Bever) Page, Desert Hot Spring, CA; two daughters, Mary Ann (Dennis) Cairns, Midland, and Diana (Charles) Winters, Columbiana, OH; a sister-in-law, Emma Jane Mosura; grandchildren, Michael Winters, Orlando, FL, Amie Cairns (John) Korn, Butler, Jessica Winters, Columbiana, OH, Juliann Cairns (Isaac) Reese, Columbiana, OH, Joseph (ReBecca) Winters, Yuma, AZ, and Dennis R. (Kelly) Cairns, San Marcos, CA; great-grandchildren, Judah Winters, Mila Korn, Sophia Grace Winters, and Joe and Jake Cairns; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

As per the family’s wishes, all services were private. Interment took place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

Julie suffered from Dementia the last 10 years, but passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. The family sends a heartfelt “Thanks” to Bonnie Riffle, and Chrysta Marsh of Vitas Healthcare for the giving of their time and the compassionate care given to their mother.

Testimonials

Thank you so very much for your kind expression of sympathy in our time of sorrow, you were there for us from beginning to end, plus more. You prepared Rocky in such a handsome and peaceful way, prior to that viewing I saw only pain and suffering. It helped remind me of peaceful and happy times. What else can a grateful heart say.

Mark, Alex & Staff Our family is very grateful for the caring and thoughtful way you handled Marian's viewing and service. We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.

It's never easy to lose a loved one but the kind and compassionate service that Mark and his team provided certainly reduced our burden. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They handled every last detail so that we could spend the time grieving the loss of our father and husband. The help that my mom is still receiving from them is beyond comforting to me and my brother. Words cannot express our deepest thanks and gratitude.
