Joel T. Walker, 74, of Beaver, passed away early Friday morning, August 14, 2020.

Born August 7, 1946 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Carl E. and Margaret Johnson Walker. A proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Joel served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Beaver Alliance Church, Beaver.

Joel will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Cheryl J. Mackey Walker; one son, Justin A. (Ashley) Walker; sister, Sarah C. (Joseph) Walker Ramsey; and one cherished grandson, Caleb A. Walker.

In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded in death by four brothers, K.C., Bob E., John M., and Malcolm D. Walker; and his niece, Lori Walker.

Friends will be received on Monday August 17, 2020 from 2p-4p and 6p-8p in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver Pa 15009. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday August 18, 2020 at 11:30a at Beaver Alliance Church, 490 College Avenue, Beaver Pa 15009.

Interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Rites.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joel’s name to Beaver Alliance Church, 490 College Avenue, Beaver Pa 15009.

Thank you so very much for your kind expression of sympathy in our time of sorrow, you were there for us from beginning to end, plus more. You prepared Rocky in such a handsome and peaceful way, prior to that viewing I saw only pain and suffering. It helped remind me of peaceful and happy times. What else can a grateful heart say.

Mark & Alex everything done by you and your staff was outstanding. It was a difficult time for us, but you made everyone feel at ease. You never forgot anything we said or asked for. We are so glad Dad knew where he wanted to go. Once again Father Knows Best!

Thank you for guiding us through the preplanning, Your Patience and understanding as we tried to finalize arrangements was so helpful at such an emotional time. We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.

It's never easy to lose a loved one but the kind and compassionate service that Mark and his team provided certainly reduced our burden. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They handled every last detail so that we could spend the time grieving the loss of our father and husband. The help that my mom is still receiving from them is beyond comforting to me and my brother. Words cannot express our deepest thanks and gratitude.
