She was well loved and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Hattye was generous, kind and caring with thoughts always for the well-being of family and friends. Hattye J. Bell was born on December 9, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Olivia Jenkins Adams and Hattye is a graduate of Aliquippa High School, where she met the love of her life, Ernest Bell. In 1957, Hattye is survived by her life-long friend and husband of 65 years, Ernest Bell; daughter, Allison J. Bell; The families extend their sincere thanks for the exceptional care Hattye received from Heritage Valley, Beaver nursing staff, 3rd Floor, Providence Care Center nursing staff 3rd Floor, Concordia at Villa St. Joseph 2nd Floor staff. Hattye J. Bell
Willie Adams, Stewart County, GA. Hattye was preceded in death by her sister, Willie Eunice Britten-Miller, Albany GA and nephew, Charles Leon Britten, Columbus, GA.
after Ernest completed his service to our country, he and Hattye were united in marriage. In 1959,
they were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Allison J. Bell. Hattye retired after more than 20 years from Westinghouse. She was a faithful contributor and supporter of Tried Stone Baptist Church, Aliquippa, PA, and later, she would attend the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Industry, PA with her husband. Hattye enjoyed shopping, planning meals for her family and preparing bake good-gifts for friends. She was always thinking of meaningful and special ways to lift and brighten the life of others.
Grandson, Leon Reese& wife Kendra; sister, Shirley A. Adam; close friend of the family, Carolyn Reese;
along four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
