Harold Lee Roy (Jack) Johns

Harold Lee Roy (Jack) Johns, 90, passed away Sunday night, October 29, 2023, with his family at his side.

Born to Howard W. and Dolly Knox Johns, Jack was a lifelong resident of Beaver, graduating from Beaver Area High School. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps (SeaBees) during the Korean War. When he returned home, he attended cosmetology school and worked at Horne’s, Pittsburgh before opening St. Clair Beauty Salon in Upper St. Clair, working there until he retired. Jack also served his community as a Beaver Volunteer Fireman.

In his spare time, Jack loved boating and working his yard, tending to his garden. His greatest love was for his family.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 65-years, Edna Arlene Martin Johns in 2021; brother, Howard Johns; infant grandson, Kirk Phelps Johns; and infant granddaughter, Mariah Faith Harrison.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Jennifer (Ricky Lakin) Harrison, Kirk (Lorainne) Johns, and Tracy (Todd) Costo; grandchildren, Travis (Jess DeMark) Costo, Stephen Rathovich, Brent Harrison, Brent Johns, April (Aaron) Dorsey, Harlee Johns, and Anthony Johns; and great-grandchildren, Luca Johns and Mia Arlene Costo.

Friends will be received Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jack’s name may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1098 Third St., Beaver, PA 15009.
