Gary L. Means, 82, of Baden, answered the call to come home to his Heavenly Father on July 19, 2023.
Born September 11, 1940 in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late George and Janet Means. Gary was a graduate of the Famous Artists’ Course, Beaver Area High School, and the Universal Art Academy of Pittsburgh, where he eventually taught commercial art. He also sold artist’s supplies as a former employee of Craft International Manufacturing. For over 40-years, Gary and his wife, Marty, dedicated their lives to the Lord, travelling and using his artistry to present the Gospel of their Savior. He will be remembered for his pastel rendering titled “Lasting Moments”. Gary was a faithful former member of the Beaver Alliance Church and the North Hills Alliance Church, now called Life Point Alliance, Franklin Park.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 62-years, Martha R. Means.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brothers, Mervin and Robert.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date. A private inurnment will take place at Beaver Cemetery. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
