Cory Allen Miller, 46, of Midland, formerly of Beaver, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday December 27, 2020.

Born December 12, 1974 in Jeanette, he was a son of Lorraine K. Miller, Export, and the late Lanny Miller. A 1997 graduate of Slippery Rock University, Cory, along with his wife Jen, and their church, answered the call of those in need by opening The Center in Midland, whose mission is equipping and empowering generations through Christ. A faithful member of Four Mile Presbyterian Church, Cory began his vocation there with the Rock, a program he led for 20 years. He will be remembered by many not only in Midland, but all of Beaver County.

In addition to his mother Lorraine, Cory will be greatly missed by his wife of 25 years, Jennifer Mura Miller, Midland; son, Jacob “Jake” Allen Miller, and daughter, Jordan Lynn Miller, both of Pittsburgh; and his brother and sister, Jaimy and Stacy Miller, both of Export.

Friends will be received Saturday, January 2, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the upper room of The Center, 772 Ohio Ave., Midland, PA 15059. All in attendance are to wear masks and maintain social-distancing. Two Celebration of Life Services will take place at Four Mile Presbyterian Church, Brighton Twp. The first will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021, with the second at 2 p.m. the same day. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating is limited. Those planning to attend are asked to register in advance for either the 12:30 service or the 2 p.m. service at fourmile.org. Please register for only one service. If you have already registered for the latter service and would like to switch to the 12:30 p.m. one, cancel your previous reservation or let the church know by notifying Abby at abby@fourmile.org. Masks will be required for the duration of the funeral services. For those unable to be present in person for the funeral, the services will be streamed via the Fourmile Church Facebook page and fourmile.org. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Cory’s name may be made to The Center, 772 Ohio Ave., Midland, PA 15059.

Testimonials

Noll Funeral Home
Thank you so very much for your kind expression of sympathy in our time of sorrow, you were there for us from beginning to end, plus more. You prepared Rocky in such a handsome and peaceful way, prior to that viewing I saw only pain and suffering. It helped remind me of peaceful and happy times. What else can a grateful heart say.

Thank you for guiding us through the preplanning, Your Patience and understanding as we tried to finalize arrangements was so helpful at such an emotional time. Everyone at Noll's guided us through all the details. We did not have to worry about the schedule or anything, other than to spend time with family and friends as we shared and grieved together. Thank you for removing all the stress and concerns from those days. You have all been a Blessing!!

Mark, Alex & Staff Our family is very grateful for the caring and thoughtful way you handled Marian's viewing and service. We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.
