Charlotte Rae Umstead, 77 of Aliquippa formerly of Beaver passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, August 7, 2020 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born September 26, 1942 in New Brighton, PA, she was a daughter of Gayle and Esther Funk Umstead. Charlotte had attended BCRC and classes on campus at Passavant Memorial Homes.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was an infant brother, Gayle Umstead, Jr.

Surviving is her devoted family, including her brother, Richard (Christine) Umstead, Patterson Twp., 2 nieces, Lori (Ron) Heil, Gibsonia, Wendy (Dave) Pears, Lebanon, TN, a great niece, Hannah Hawthorne, a great nephew, Caleb (Ashlee) Hawthorne.and a great great niece, Callie Hawthorne.

Visitation, funeral services and interment at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park will be private. Arrangements are being conducted by the Noll Funeral Home, Inc. 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nolfuneral.com.

Memorial contributions may be made if desired to the Passavant Memorial Homes, 641 Reno St., Rochester, PA 15074.

The family would like to thank the many special caregivers for the incredibly loving care given to Charlotte.

Thank you so very much for your kind expression of sympathy in our time of sorrow, you were there for us from beginning to end, plus more. You prepared Rocky in such a handsome and peaceful way, prior to that viewing I saw only pain and suffering. It helped remind me of peaceful and happy times. What else can a grateful heart say.

Mark & Alex everything done by you and your staff was outstanding. It was a difficult time for us, but you made everyone feel at ease. You never forgot anything we said or asked for. We are so glad Dad knew where he wanted to go. Once again Father Knows Best!

Thank you for guiding us through the preplanning, Your Patience and understanding as we tried to finalize arrangements was so helpful at such an emotional time. Mark, Alex & Staff Our family is very grateful for the caring and thoughtful way you handled Marian's viewing and service. We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.
