Carol C. Dobbs, 81, of Beaver, passed away peacefully Friday, April 23, 2021. Born March 20, 1940 in Rochester, NY, she was a daughter of the late Reverend William and Cathleen Ford VandenBerg. In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol worked as a church secretary and was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver. She was also affiliated with Gideons for 20 years. Carol will be greatly missed by her husband, Kenneth A. Dobbs; son, Kraig (Donna) Dobbs; daughters, Karen (Scott) Kuiper, and Kathy Dobbs; a sister, Lois (Arlan) Vanhaaften; grandchildren, Gage, Aiden and Sydney Dobbs, Karly (Brandon) Worley, and Joshua and Jonathan Kuiper; and a great-grandchild, Karmen Worley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Kuiper and Betty Bradley; and a brother, Jim VandenBerg. As per Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Her family is comforted that He has always seen her, always known her, always been with her, and heard her longing prayers. It was a beautiful love story with a sweet happy ending. Carol clung to Jesus’ promise from Hebrews 13:5: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
