Anna Marie Boes, 93, of Chippewa Twp., formerly of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Born August 13, 1928 in Jeannette, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary Joyce Wizzard. A resident of Beaver most of her life, Anna Marie was a registered nurse and former member of the Crimson Line, Beaver Women’s Club, the former Beaver Valley Country Club, and Life Steps. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, and later, St. Monica’s Catholic Church, Beaver Falls. Anna Marie enjoyed golf, bowling and playing cards in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Boes in 1997; and siblings, Rita Taylor, Betty Piacentino, Mina Harrison, and Jack Wizzard.

She will be greatly missed by her sons, Bill (Pam) Boes, Chris (Andrea) Boes, Tim (Debbie Tenda) Boes, and Dan (Lori) Boes; and grandchildren, Keenan (Katlyn Geist) Boes, Adam, Will, Jake, and Tucker Boes, and Amie Boes (Chad) Fish; and great-grandchildren, Lia Kate and Ella Joyce Fish, and Avery Mae Boes.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley, Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver. Entombment will take place at the Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

Memorial contributions in Anna Marie’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mark & Alex everything done by you and your staff was outstanding. It was a difficult time for us, but you made everyone feel at ease. You never forgot anything we said or asked for. We are so glad Dad knew where he wanted to go. Once again Father Knows Best!

We thought the work done by Patty on the pictures was tremendous as it brought out the essence of Marian & it was a nice tribute to her. The viewing set up and floral arranging was very nice, we thank you for kindly handling our every request. It was also supportive to know that all the visitors would receive a friendly welcome at the door even long after normal visiting hours. And we only see what’s not “behind the scenes”. It’s obvious these things are well done too. Your help with things beyond the funeral itself is also much appreciated.

It's never easy to lose a loved one but the kind and compassionate service that Mark and his team provided certainly reduced our burden. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They handled every last detail so that we could spend the time grieving the loss of our father and husband. The help that my mom is still receiving from them is beyond comforting to me and my brother. Words cannot express our deepest thanks and gratitude.
