Albert A. Converso

Albert “Al” Angelo Converso Sr., 88, of Ohioville, passed away on June 18, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on October 1, 1935, in Lowber, PA, he was the son of the late Carlo and Cardenia (Camerini) Converso, Al was a member of St. Augustine Parish, St. Blaise Roman Catholic Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, and attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, having graduating as a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic, he went on to work and retire from Eastern Airlines. Al was a 50-year member of American Legion Post 481 in Midland, as well as a member of Fairview Grange #1351, where he founded the Thursday Night Consignment Auctions. He also enjoyed cattle farming, gardening, and most importantly spending time with his family, neighbors, and close friends. Along with his parents, Al is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (2015); and all of his siblings. Al is survived by his three children, Alesia Converso, of Rostraver Twp, PA, Cindi (Curtis Wallace) Converso, Butler Twp., and Albert Converso Jr., Ohioville; grandchildren, Allen Wallace, Mya Converso, and Derek Converso; grand dogs, Bentley and Lady; as well as numerous nieces, and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday June 21, 2024, from 5pm-8pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 10:30am at St Augustine Parish, St. Blaise Church, 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland PA 15059. Full Military Honors to follow mass.
